This care project provides space to its young residents while staying compact to safeguard the site’s valuable orchard and green environment. The building, inspired by the surrounding building typologies, is precisely situated in the centre of the site. Its implantation provides the community with generous shared green spaces.
Two of the volumes act as big houses for their residents. The carefully balanced scale offers the warmth of a home while including all the functional needs of a care site. A connecting building between the houses serves as a collective heart with flexible and multifunctional spaces.
The existing villa on site is preserved and renovated to become a recognisable and welcoming space for former residents and the entire neighbourhood.
