Conceived as an extension of the Maria Parc, the new courtyard building of the Youth Guidance Centre and the surrounding landscaping create a new forest for the community.
Deliberately built on the plot next to the existing Centre of Pieter Simenon, the project facilitates new opportunities for the future by converting the current buildings for neighbouring organisations.
The building is composed of four houses that contain the studios and shared spaces for the residents and staff. All the functions are positioned around a courtyard garden providing a green space and privacy. The whole structure is designed so that extensions and adjustments will be possible in the future without any structural interventions.
