B-ILD aims to transform the site Halve Maan by doing as little as possible. This historical site has always been prominently present in the coastal skyline of Ostend but has never been accessible to the public. By creating a new path, the site will be opened for visitors. The first part of the path cuts through the landscape, accentuating its monumentality. The second part rises above the ground and has minimal impact on nature. Two bunkers are connected by a circular path allowing a broad view on the landscape.
