The design for this economic single-family house challenges existing suburban lotting conventions. By placing wall to ceiling glass facades in the front and the back of the house, the small building plot was maximally leveraged while answering the client’s wish for maximal light and view. By limiting the structural bearing walls to the exterior walls, we managed to limit cost and stay within challenging budgetary envelope.
