After a fire struck the St. Peter's church of Galmaarden in 2008, many years passed till a new designation was imagined. The proposal envisions a new library and a covered market hall where meeting and active public life is central. Respectful preservation and subtle intervention are major design principles that have been followed during the design process. Looking back, but above all looking forward.
